Private yacht tour
BAYS OF FETHİYE HALF-ISLAND

The Bay of Fethiye is home to daily “12 Islands” boat tours (despite the name, there are not actually 12 islands — it’s more of a marketing strategy ). As a result, this part of the coast can get quite busy during the day. You can join a group excursion through any local agency.

The tour featured in my recommendations is different — it is private and follows a completely different route, focused on quieter and more secluded locations.

This is the exact yacht you will spend a day on.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Please read this to understand the concept of the trip.
  • Will there be anyone else on the boat?
No, just you and the captain.
  • Does the captain speak English?
    Yes, he does.
  • Can we have a trip with lunch?
Yes, for an extra fee (which depends on what you would like to have).
  • What to take with you

    Water and snacks
There is no possibility to buy anything at sea, so please come prepared. Bring at least 1 litre of water per person and some snacks — you will get hungry!

Towels and shoes that can get wet
Please bring towels and comfortable shoes that can get wet. You will be getting on and off the boat and some beaches can be rocky, so water shoes or sandals are always a good idea.

    Motion sickness tablets
If you get seasick easily, please stop by a pharmacy before the tour. This part of the coastline can sometimes get choppy on the way back.
  • IS THE SEA ALWAYS CALM IN THIS PART OF THE COAST?
The sea is usually calmer in the morning, but conditions vary from day to day. Final confirmation of the tour will depend on sea conditions and weather.
HOW TO BOOK
Bookings are managed by the captain’s brother, who speaks English and will be happy to help you organise your tour. To confirm your booking, a €50 deposit is required. As you press the button a short booking form will open automatically. Please fill in your name, number of guests, preferred dates and a few other details.
